We understand that people do not all learn the same way so we offer a variety of learning delivery methods for employees to choose from, including online and in-person courses, resources and tools, social learning, and special events.
From day one, we’re here to support your success. Through the Harris Onboarding Program, we introduce employees to the firm, the various departments and Harris’ mission and vision. New employees attend a business orientation and marketing orientation that delve deeply into the structure of Harris and responsibilities to our clients. New employees also attend a lunch hosted by Kristi Rowsell, Harris’ president.
Harris encourages employees to attend external training or conferences. All employees have access to LinkedIn Learning, which provides over 9,000 online courses on business, technical and soft skills. In addition, HR offers several opportunities for employees to learn, including internally offered courses and Lunch & Learns on various topics.
Harris is here to support managers by providing development to make you a successful manager. For newly promoted managers, Harris provides new leader assimilation, leadership assessments and development recommendations based on individual needs. We also offer team-building sessions to bring your teams together.
