In celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th, 2024, the Harris Women’s Network (HWN) hosted an industry plus-one event. The event, Planting the Seeds of Inclusion, was based on this year’s International Women’s Day theme, #InspireInclusion.
Rana Wright, Partner and Chief Legal and Administrative Officer, shared her view that International Women’s Day is, “A global recognition of the impact that women have on the world (regardless of whether it’s outside or inside the home). The day is a celebration and an acknowledgement of the seen and unseen contributions by women around the world.”
Tony Coniaris, Partner, Chairman and Portfolio Manager, explained that inclusion in the workplace is important to him because, “Helping people feel a part of something can motivate, engage and align employees behind a common set of goals and best utilize them individually to optimize their value for their customers so the firm can continue to serve a purpose in the marketplace.”
